Taoist Tales  (2015)

35 paintings and stories I produced for Shambhala Publications. Inspired by the writings of the 3rd century BC Taoist philosopher Chuang Tzu, these stories of a master trying to enlighted his rather thick-headed students are a series of teachings many times quite different to Western tradition. The painting style used in the illustrations are unique for me in combining my black ink technique with my more naturalistic acrylic technique (8" X 8" on paper). Shambhala has tenatively scheuled the realease of the book for 2017 under a title yet to be determined.
